Meet The Founder
Armstrong Agoreyo
Social Entrepreneur | Artist | Mentor
For Armstrong Agoreyo, the path to the creative industry wasn't paved with encouragement, it was built on the resilience of a child who was told "no." Having been discouraged from pursuing art early in life, those quiet moments of rejection eventually became the fuel for his life’s mission: ensuring no other young creator feels invisible.
With over 15 years in the classroom, Armstrong understood early on that talent is universal, but belief is not. He saw firsthand that passion alone isn’t enough to sustain a young artist; they need a platform that stands firmly in their corner.
In 2021, driven by a desire to spark joy in his students, Armstrong launched "Art Explosion." What began as a humble initiative with just 15 pupils has since blossomed into Think Artist, a global movement that transcends borders. Throughout his career, Armstrong has leaned into the "hard-to-reach" spaces working with refugees, the LGBTQ+ community, and schools—to prove that art is a powerful tool for belonging.
Today, Armstrong’s impact has reached over 1,000 young people and aspiring artists. By bridging the creative gap between the UK and Nigeria, he is dismantling the idea that opportunity is reserved for those with specific postcodes or deep pockets.
For Armstrong, Think Artist is more than a company. It is a promise kept to his younger self a destiny fulfilled by becoming the very encouragement he once needed to find his way
