Celebrating Resilience Through Sustainable Art

On August 28th, 2025, Think Artist and the Derby Refugee Advise centre came together at Banks Mill Studios for a unique initiative: a workshop combining environmental responsibility with creative expression.

Led by award-winning artist Armstrong Agoreyo, this session provided a space for refugees in our community to explore the art of upcycling. Participants were tasked with repurposing disposed magazines, turning everyday waste into striking works of art.
