children & adults empowered through creativity
Welcome to Think Artist - where imagination meets community.
Art That Connects Us All
Think Artist is a creative movement that believes everyone deserves the chance to express, to heal, to build, and to belong - through art.
At Think Artist, we are committed to making creativity accessible for all. We champion artistic expression among disadvantaged and low-income individuals - especially children, families, and marginalized adults - who are often excluded from the arts due to financial and social barriers. Through art education, community workshops, and international outreach, we transform lives, revive waste materials, and create connections across cultures, from Derby to the slums of Nigeria.
Our Commitments
Our initiatives are designed to inspire creativity, empower individuals, and build stronger communities through the transformative power of art.
Community Art Projects
We bring art into public spaces and communities - painting walls, planting colour, building connections.
Because creativity belongs everywhere.
Workshops & Skill Lab
Learn, experiment, and express in spaces designed for discovery - from drawing and sculpture to digital media and upcycled art.
Art Therapy
Our guided sessions explore art as healing - helping participants find calm, focus, and voice.

We inspire creativity, empower individuals, and build stronger communities.
Our Legacy
At Think Artist, we believe art is more than expression - it’s a tool for empowerment, transformation, and cultural connection. Through training, workshops, events, and global exchanges, we inspire creativity, nurture talent, and showcase art that speaks to communities. From skill-based training and upcycling projects to exhibitions and cultural exchanges, our programs are designed to empower individuals while celebrating creativity and sustainability.
We are dedicated to transforming communities through the power of art. Founded on the belief that art fosters innovation and social change, we create opportunities for people of all ages - especially young people - to learn, grow, and express themselves.

FAQs
Your Questions answered
Q: I have no prior art experience. Is this movement for me? A: Absolutely. Unlike traditional programs that require a portfolio just to get in, Think Artist believes every person has a "creative heartbeat." Whether you are picking up a brush for the first time or returning to art after years away, our community is designed to meet you where you are. We don't just teach you how to paint and recycle discarded papers and Materials ; we help you rediscover the joy of expression and the power of your own voice.
Q: I’ve already taken online art classes and didn't see results. How is Think Artist different? A: Many classes focus on copying a teacher's style. At Think Artist, we focus on Think-Artistry. Our approach combines technical skills with soulful discovery and social consciousness. You aren’t just a student in a portal; you are part of a global movement connecting creators from Derby to Nigeria. Plus, with our interactive contests and exhibition opportunities, you have tangible goals and rewards that keep you inspired and accountable.
Q: Why should I join this instead of a traditional art school? A: Traditional schools often bury you in debt and academic theory. Think Artist offers a human-centric alternative that is affordable and purpose-driven. While art schools focus on "The Gallery," we focus on "The Impact." You’ll learn how to use sustainable practices like upcycling materials to create art that matters. We provide a supportive tribe, real-world rewards, and the chance to see your work change lives in your local and global community.
Q: How do the online art contests and exhibitions work? A: We believe talent should be celebrated and rewarded. Periodically, we host themed contests where "Art-Thinkers" can submit their work to be judged by our community and mentors. Winners receive cash rewards to help fund their supplies or creative journey. Beyond the rewards, our digital exhibitions provide a platform for your art to be seen by a global audience, bridging the gap between your studio and the world.
Q: I’m busy with work and family. Can I still participate? A: Life is busy, but your soul shouldn't suffer for it. Our workshops and community are designed to be flexible. You can engage with the content at your own pace. Think of us as your "creative sanctuary" a place you come to recharge, not another chore on your to-do list. Even 30 minutes a week of "Think-Artistry" can lead to a profound transformation in your well-being.
Q: What is the "Social Ripple" I keep hearing about? A: This is what makes us unique. When you join Think Artist, you aren't just helping yourself. You are supporting a movement that brings art to underserved communities, specifically in our projects in Nigeria and youth programs in Derby. A portion of our energy and resources goes toward ensuring that art remains a tool for healing and social change for those who need it most.
