This year, Think Art Festival is inviting young creators across Nigeria to look into the future and bring their imagination to life through art. With the theme “The World in 2075,” the Think Art Festival 2026 competition is giving children and teenagers between the ages of 7 and 17 the opportunity to express their ideas, showcase their talent, compete for exciting prizes, and become part of a growing community of young artists.

Imagine The World In 2075

Every artist sees the world differently.

That is what makes this year's theme so exciting. “The World in 2075” is not asking you to predict the future perfectly. It is asking you to imagine it.

Think about the world you want to live in. Think about the technology you believe we might have. Think about how people, cities, nature, education, transportation, or even everyday life could change over the next 49 years.

Whatever your vision looks like, this is your opportunity to put it on paper, canvas, or another creative surface and let other people see the future through your eyes.

More Than a Competition

The Think Art Festival is not simply about finding a winner.

Since it began in 2021 as Art Explosion, Abuja's first-ever virtual art contest, the festival has grown into a platform created to discover, encourage, and celebrate young artists. The first edition attracted more than 65 entries from 12 schools, and the festival has continued to create opportunities for students to share their creativity with a wider audience.

Now, the 2026 edition is fully online, opening the door for young artists from across Nigeria to participate.

For a young person who loves drawing, painting, sculpture, or simply creating things, this could be more than just another competition. It could be an opportunity to gain confidence, have their work seen, meet other young creatives, and discover just how far their imagination can take them.

There Is Something To Win

Of course, the excitement doesn't stop at having your artwork recognised.

The top three artists will receive cash prizes, with ₦120,000 for the Gold Award, ₦80,000 for the Silver Award, and ₦50,000 for the Bronze Award. Every participant will also receive a certificate of participation.

But perhaps the biggest reward is having your creativity seen.

For many young artists, getting the opportunity to put their work in front of an audience can be the beginning of something much bigger. A competition like this can be the encouragement a young creator needs to take their talent more seriously and continue developing it.
